2. JOB PURPOSE | |||
This role is responsible for the provision of transport services as requested, in line with the CMK guidelines on vehicle usage and safety.
Further, the position parks all customer cars in line with CMK guidelines for full security of the vehicles, as well as for proper utilisation of the parking areas. |

3. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB | |||
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB a) Pick and drop off customers safely as required to enhance the customers satisfaction index b) Safely Park all customers’ vehicles in the designated areas ensuring that all windows are wound up and doors locked at the end of each day to secure the vehicles. c) Pick and deliver customer vehicles in liaison with the workshop management team d) Assist in parking yard management to facilitate smooth traffic operations e) Compliment sublet operations in liaison with the tools store clerk by moving vehicles and components to suppliers and branch network f) Carry out road tests in liaison with the service manager to test specific vehicle behaviour, eg software adaptation, for mechanical and electrical roadworthiness etc g) Move vehicles in liaison with sales departments for events, branch transfers sublets etc h) Facilitate maintenance of roadworthiness of company cars by initiating service and repairs, insurance renewal, retrofits etc i) Maintain dealer operating standards in the line of duty j) Schedule maintenance of company vehicles without delay to minimize vehicle breakdown k) Understand and apply Kaizen within his work environment l) Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the company management

4. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE | |||
Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role | |||
O’Level certificate of education, Driving licence minimum class B C E, Certificate in defensive driving course
Fluency in English language

Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role | |||
3 years’ of experience in driving Passenger and Heavy commercial vehicles
