- This role is responsible for the delivery of Client Driver Training across the Company’s portfolio of product. The training will include classroom theory and on the road practice.

- MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

- Operational Responsibilities;
- Train customers after vehicle purchase
- Demonstrate features of new models with regards to operation, advantages and benefits.
- Maintain up to date Driver Training Records of work including diary/ calendar and attendance.
- Evaluate drivers, give full reports and issue certificates to participants upon successfully completion of the training. Circulate the reports for internal use.
- Conduct refresher courses for existing customers with regards to correct operation and economical driving
- Attend to company events and new vehicle launches when required.
- Support sales staff in vehicle handovers to new clients.
- Submit accurate daily/ weekly training reports to the direct report
- Actively participate in promotional and customer training activities to market the company products and services
- Maintain regular contact with clients to promote retention by getting feedback on the effectiveness of training.
- Assess driver competence and give feedback
- Develop Training materials
- Maintain up to date knowledge on traffic and road safety regulations / legislation
- Support aftersales with driver performance improvement
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by management

- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
|
| Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role |
- Valid and Clean driving licence for Trucks and Buses (At least 5 years)
- Education – Certificate or Diploma in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering or Transport& Logistics
- Train the trainer Certification
|
| Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role |
- 5 years working experience in an automotive industry
- Defensive driving instructor certification
